1. Introduction and Project Mission
The Binary Pulse Project (“Binary Pulse”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is the umbrella organization for our in-world operations, consisting of Binary Pulse Music (BPM) and the Binary Pulse venue. We focus on producing, distributing, and licensing music and related media exclusively for use within the Second Life® virtual world environment.
2. Platform Compliance & Overriding Terms
These Terms supplement the official Second Life Terms of Service and Community Standards. Binary Pulse operates within the Adult maturity rating. All performers, partners, and licensees must be 18+ in real life. Second Life’s TOS/CS always prevail in case of conflict.
3. Official Communication Policy
All official correspondence with the Binary Pulse Project, including Binary Pulse Music, must occur either via Second Life® IM or Notecards addressed to verified Binary Pulse representatives, or via official Binary Pulse email accounts within the @binarypulse-project.org domain.
Top Management (Torvis, Leah, Annika, and Shy) are protected by an automated acknowledgement system. When you contact them, you will receive a confirmation message stating that your email has been received and will be reviewed personally.
⚠️ Correspondence with Binary Pulse Top Management requires a verified digital signature for faster processing. Unsigned or unverified messages may experience delayed handling.
Automated replies (e.g., acknowledgement or filter responses) are generated by a non-human system and are not digitally signed or encrypted for deliverability reasons.

5. Watermarking & Verification
Binary Pulse Music uses digital watermarking to ensure authenticity and traceability, compliant with our Data Protection Declaration.
6. Revocation & Updates
Binary Pulse reserves the right to revoke or update licenses if standards change or violations occur. Licensees must delete revoked materials immediately.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
All data is handled under the authority of Torvis (raven.surtees), Data Controller, in accordance with the EU GDPR. See our Data Protection Declaration.
8. Restrictions
- No claiming ownership of Binary Pulse content
- No resale, redistribution, or external uploads of original files
- No alteration or removal of metadata or watermarks
- Use only within Second Life and within its TOS/Community Standards
